WEARE, NH — August 1, 2007 — Granite State Telephone (GST) announced today that it will sponsor Sandown Old Home Day's 15th Annual 5-Miler and Kid's 1K Road Race on August 11, 2007. This is GST's 12th year sponsoring the race which attracts around 150 runners from southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts.
GST will also participate in the Sandown Old Home Day parade scheduled for Saturday, August 11th at 12:00 p.m., and will have a booth at the fair from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The celebration is one of several town fairs the company will be visiting in its service area this summer. Customers are invited to stop by the GST booth to enter a raffle for a chance to win a prize and receive a FREE gift. Customer service representatives will be available to answer questions about the communications industry and provide information about the company's newest services, such as Find Me, which allows customers to forward calls to up to six phone numbers at the same time.

Be on the lookout for GST at the Chester Town Fair on Saturday, September 8th. The company will also be hosting a special Customer Appreciation Day and Open House at its Customer Care Center located in Lanctot's Plaza in South Weare, NH on September 22nd from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
